Mad Kidz is an OFSTED registered childminders offering childcare in Hullbridge. We open from 7:30am-5:30pm Monday to Friday.

We take children from birth, with spaces for full, or term time only, holiday club, before and after school care to riverside primary school only. We accept tax free vouchers and all funding including the extended 30 hours funding.

We are in a lovely location only a 15 min walk to the local nature reserve, to feed the swans, watch the boats on the river or have a stroll through the woods.

We also visit the library and church for our dancing and acro, which is located just up the road and we have our own minibus to branch out further for little trips.

At Mad Kidz we have an amazing area situated at the rear of the house.

We have two main large cabins which the children have access to and a wide range of resources to follow their own choices. We also set activities up following the children’s interests, next steps and EYFS guidelines. Phonics is a main part of our curriculum, which we teach in a wide range of fun ways including a visit from Robot Reg once a week.

There is an open space in one of the cabins to do our indoor physical activities like brain breaks, dancing and yoga. There is a smaller cabin that we do a lot of our arts and crafts in, along with a separate sleep room. Between these rooms we have an open outdoor space equipped with climbing frame, trampoline, slide and a soft play area, which the children have access to daily, come rain or shine.

We do have a Mad Kidz uniform that you can purchase, which is a great way to encourage all children’s self-esteem and have a sense of belonging.
